Our Third Day

Clothes? Who needs clothes? We just wanted to get some more sun.

Aunt Char missed her 8:00 a.m. Yoga class. We had breakfast at the World Cafe, which is a buffet. Then, we got chairs at the Infinity pool and I even got a raft. I could have sold the raft because so many people wanted it!

At 10:00 a.m. Aunt Char tried the rock climbing, but it was very difficult. A few kids from England came for their turn and she gave up. I told her that she had every right to try it as much as they did, but she wouldn't do it while they were waiting. I couldn't see how anyone could get up there anyhow as there was nowhere to grip. I'd like to challenge Brian Onstad to try that rock climbing wall!

Pescado
We saw quite a few schools of sting ray swimming in the ocean and even a Puffer fish. Like I always say, who wants to swim in the ocean? That's like entering a cave with a mother bear and her cubs.

Raft, Beach, Raft, Beach
I read my book while laying on my raft in the Infinity Pool. It was very relaxing. When I went for a walk on the beach, Aunt Char had to lay on the raft to guard it with her life! I didn't walk the beach as much as I should have, but I got a lot of sun laying on the raft (but only on my front).

Drinks
Everyone at the pool was drinking "Dirty Monkeys," which are a slushy banana and chocolate flavored drink with chocolate on the glass and on top. I asked if they could make them non-alcoholic and that became my drink! I think I had them at the Iberostar before. Moo!

Water Aerobics
Aunt Char was overly ambitious and was going to go to Water Aerobics too, but then she didn't. She went too early and didn't want to go back.

Lunch
I woke up at Char at 1:30 to go to lunch and she thought we already went to lunch. LOL I guess she was "Dreamin'"

Seaside Grill
We ate at the Seaside Grill again for lunch.

Main Pool
We moved to the main pool by the pool bar for a little while.

Spa
Aunt Char had a 5:00 p.m. Spa appointment. I stayed at the main pool, and must have closed my eyes for a few minutes and when I opened them, almost everyone was gone and it was drizzling, so I went back to the room.

Blogging
I tried to blog, but it just wasn't cooperating.

Seaside Grill
Dinner was at the Seaside Grill, which is open air. It's a steak house in the evening. Did I mention that Aunt Char ordered 2 desserts every night?

Circus Show
I made Aunt Char go to the evening entertainment. It was the only show they had while we were there. It was a bunch of mimes, a belly dancer, and girls doing acrobatics. Aunt Char was seriously freaked out by the mime on stilts. She must watch too many murder shows.

Rendezvous Bar
We had a drink at the Rendezvous Bar and Aunt Char was upset that there was a piano player playing Billy Joel songs. I never knew she hated live music. Who hates live music? Her husband is a musician.

Am I a Travel Agent?
Aunt Char didn't believe me that you had to turn in your room keys. She called the front desk to inquire about checking out over the phone (LOL) and they told her that she had to turn the keys in the next morning. I know the drill. I've stayed at so many all-inclusive resorts.

T.V.
Aunt Char (like my mom) slept with the T.V. on. It was so hot in the room and I every time I got up to check the thermostat, I would hear a clip of Maroon Five playing. Aunt Char said that I was "dreaming," but I wasn't.

I hope that you are not swimming with "pescado" because that is the dead fist that you eat. Swimming fish that are still alive are called "pez".

See, Spanish is too complicated a language for me. Same thing with muy bien and muy bueno....very confusing!
